Wow, what a magnificent plant. There is nothing like walking or driving through the lush saguaro “forests” around Tuscon, AZ. This one is NW of town in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains and, judging by its size, probably started growing in the 1800′s. I’ll post a few more saguaro shots following this one.
